Tom Sly is managing partner of Media Inno, a broadcast TV and digital innovationconsultancy. He is an expert in CTV and multiplatform monetization. He writes the TV’sMultiplatform Transformation column for TVNewsCheck.Prior to Media Inno, Sly was vice president of enterprise strategy for The E.W. ScrippsCompany, where he oversaw revenue strategy, innovation and addressable linearadvertising for Scripps’ 61 Local Media brands, its eight national networks and direct-to-consumer brands. He was part of Scripps’ ATSC 3.0 datacasting team and was with thecompany for more than 12 years. Sly’s diverse background includes managing broadcast properties for ClearChannel/iHeart Media and serving as chief operating officer of Marathon Media, abroadcast spectrum engineering and operating company. He was co-founder and served as president of a marathon running company, ownedand operated an automotive dealer group and has been the COO and CRO of severaldigital start-ups, including Comcast’s Vehix.com.
